Purchase Requests

Requesting a purchase

You can either talk to a trustee or alternatively post on the discord in the #purchase-requests channel.

Things we need to know:

• cost
• how big the item is / storage requirements & use space
• how often it's likely to be used
• who is responsible for training

Items that are of significant size may not be able to be accommodated at present, or may require significant funding and a seperate grant to succeed.

If there is an item which requires significant funding, a group funding effort (a number of members get together to provide a chunk of the capital) will demonstrate it's wanted by the membership and grants are easier to find.
