Potters

Sapwoods

Based around 10 minutes drive from the space on the border between Ashingdon and Rochford is a timber merchant and DIY store. It also has a motor store with bicycle components etc next door. There are two car parks, the front of the store which can be quite full or the unmade carpark which also serves as the timber loading bay.

Sapwoods has a wide range of sheet timber & softwood construction lumber and a large table saw and chop saw for sizing. It also carries a range of DIY electric and manual tools in the silverline style range. They stock a reasonable range of abrasives for sanding and have a selection of ironmongery. Most lengths of angle iron etc are in 7.5m sections, so factor in cutting and VAT into any quotes unless you have a long car.
